We are getting ready for school to start here in the next week and a bit. Its hard to believe that my kids are going to be in 3rd and 1st grade. What am I going to do all day while they are gone. So in order to make summer vacation feel like a vacation this week we have been to the zoo twice and swimming. Needless to say I don't know who is more exhausted by the end of the day, the kids or me. But they had fun and that is all that really matters.

Catching up
So I really am not the best blogger out there. I read lots of peoples and they are so nice and informative. But maybe I just don't find the time to do it. So let me catch up, my baby brother David is going on a mission to Guadalajara, Mexico and leaves in October. He just isn't that old to me in my head but I guess that happens when I have been married for 10 years. Our family went camping just a couple of weeks ago and that was so much fun. It is always sad to come home and have our crazy lives begin.

Finally some news
So great news Patrick was offered a permanent job!!!! We are so excited it has been a long time. And I can't wait to finally be able to get our own place again. Pats parents have been great to live with but really we need our own space. The job is up in South Ogden so we are going to have to move in a couple of months.
This job couldn't have come at a better time. Our prayers have been answered, last week Pats unemployment ended and we were not going to be bringing in enough money to cover our bills. Needless to say that I have been extremely stressed and depressed. Its really hard not to know whats going to happen. But we are so grateful and excited for this opportunity.

Whats been going on
So this past week has been pretty hard on me, first of all Pat is once again unemployed. So now I have some decisions that I need to make. Do I go back to work full time again which I really don't want to do because my kids fall apart or do I just stay home and really struggle financially until another job comes up.
It is so stressful!!
Something funny though with my kids (however it was not very funny at the time) Conner had a talent show that was coming up so I asked if he wanted to participate and he did and he said that he was good at painting pictures. So we spent a good 40 min painting until he decided that it looked perfect. We showed Aaliya and she liked it but thought it needed a flower and wanted to paint it together. So after I told her it was for Conners talent show and that he needed to do the painting by himself I thought she understood. Well I was wrong. The next morning Aaliya asked me if she could draw, I knew that she meant paint since she didn't get to yesterday. About a half hour latter I hear Conner just crying and yelling about his picture. Aaliya decided that the boy on his picture needed to be a girl with talk bubbles and that there needed to be a flower. So when I ask her why she painted on the picture she told me that she didn't, that the painting happened when she was asleep. Can I just say how mad I was about that, not only did she try to "improve" Conners picture then she lied straight face about it. I don't know what to do with that child some times. When I asked her why she lied to me she said it was because she didn't want to get into trouble, so I asked her if it worked and she said no. So hopefully she will get it. I hope that in the future she gets a little easier to get the truth out. But I love her with her attitude and everything.

My Brother came home
Well I'm not very good at this blogging thing, mostly I think because I don't really have much exciting things to write about. However my little brother came home from Guatemala from his mission. It was so nice to see him, he looks good. A little older but good. Now I have got to wrap around my head that he is home and his life will go on and that will mean marriage one day. But in my mind he is still eleven years old. That is how old he was when I got married. But we are very happy that he is home and well.
Braden also had is 2nd birthday yesterday, he is so cute but he is not so little anymore. Defiantly in the toddler stage now instead of the baby stage. Oh how I love all of my kids they just make my day.

Hockey game

So this past Saturday we went and took the kids to a hockey game with Patricks family, it was a lot of fun. The kids all got to have their little treats and they enjoyed the mascots and the game of course. Here a just a few of the pictures that we took while keeping the kids entertained. I sure do love my kids they are so fun and happy most of the time. Even though it was a late night for us and by the end of the game we were defiantly ready to go home and get some sleep. You can tell by the pictures with my makeup from when we started the game and then by the end of the game most of my make up is gone. But it was fun we had a great time.

A sigh of relief
So I just wanted to say what a relief it is that my husband has a job now after 15 months of unemployment. Its nice to see the check book actually have money in it. I know that is kind of shallow but its been a long time since I have felt like I could actually afford to go and get anything that wasn't necessary. Not that I have done any shopping but it is nice to know that if I feel like I want a new pair of shoes for example that I can get them without feeling guilty. I am so grateful for our family that has been helping us out and still helping out as we get back on our feet. They are wonderful and we are so blessed to have them in our lifes.

Let me introduce ourselves
Braden is our baby, not that he is that little anymore. He will be turning 2 in February, Braden has natural curly hair that I love. And being a hair dresser I am sure that if it stays that curly he will hate it but for now I just enjoy it. He is the happiest baby and loves to follow his brother and sister around. This is Aaliya who is my sunshine. She is quite a handful but we love her just the same. She has a lot of Patrick in her temperament she likes to be the center of attention when she wants it otherwise she acts really shy. Aaliya turned 8 years old this last Christmas and was baptized by her father. That was such an amazing experience, I sure don't feel old enough to have a kid old enough to be baptized. I remember when I was baptized.
